What Is a Reiki Share?

A Reiki share is a group meeting in which participants may practise Reiki and discuss their practice. It is different from a private appointment booked with one practitioner. Organisers use the term in different ways, so the programme and attendance requirements matter.

Who can attend?

Some meetings are intended for people who have completed Reiki training. Others include visitors or provide an introduction. A listing should say whether previous training is required, whether there is a charge and how places are booked.

What may happen at a meeting?

A share might include an opening discussion, a period of practice and time for questions. Participants may take different roles, but there is no universal sequence. Ask about the room, seating and whether any contact is proposed before deciding how to take part.

How is it different from a course?

A practice gathering is not automatically a training course or a qualification. Check whether the event is for discussion, practice or formal teaching. This article explains the term and does not announce a Reiki share hosted by Crystal Johns; use the contact page for current enquiries.
