What Is a Public Clairvoyant Demonstration?

A public clairvoyant demonstration takes place in front of an audience rather than as a private appointment. The presenter describes impressions and may invite audience members to respond. The term is sometimes used alongside mediumship demonstration, although organisers can define the format differently.

How participation differs

An audience member may observe without speaking. If the presenter addresses someone, they may be invited to confirm or reject a detail. Not everyone present will necessarily take part, and buying a ticket should not be understood as a promise of an individual exchange.

Public and private conversation

Anything discussed from a stage may be heard by others in the room. This differs from a private conversation with one practitioner. An audience member can choose not to respond, keep personal details private or decline participation.

What a demonstration establishes

Demonstration is the name of the event format. It should not automatically be read as scientific proof of the presenter's interpretations. Descriptions of the programme should make clear whether it includes clairvoyance, mediumship, discussion or another activity, without guaranteeing a message or result.
